Since our establishment in 1994, Eagle Drilling and Blasting has developed a reputation of excellence throughout the Southern African Construction industry. Our experience however also includes Drilling and Blasting in Countries like, Uganda, Swaziland, Lesotho, Mozambique and Botswana.

With one rented air rig and compressor, Eagle Drilling and Blasting has grown to a large contract drilling and blasting company and a leader in the use of explosives for this industry. Our vast experience has allowed us to remove rock faster and much cheaper than most of our competitors.

Eagle Drilling and Blasting’s Head Office is in Centurion, Gauteng. We further have a well equipped workshop at Marikana Plants facility and Pomona, Kempton Park, with easy access to all major road works and highways.

Our plant fleet can serve your blasting needs better, faster and at a lower cost. Our plant fleet consisting of 15 pneumatic compressors and 16 crawler tracking rigs, 14 hydraulic crawler drill rigs (with a hole diameter capacity ranging between 76mm and 102mm and 2 rigs with a drilling of up to 115mm) Four 30 ton high pressure crawler mounted drill rigs (with a hole diameter capacity of up to 172mm).

The company operates six hydraulic excavators fitted with hydraulic rock breakers, 36 company vehicles and 8 passenger vehicles.

Eagle Drilling and Blasting has progressed to the extend of using Reverse circulation drilling with dual wall drill rods to advance through alluvium and bedrock as well as Down-the-hole drilling, which is powered by pneumatics or hydraulics.

All our specialist equipment is owned by the company and maintained to the highest standard to ensure operator safety, reliability and efficiency on contracts.
